Attendees
Do I have to pay attendance fees to go to a trade show on the
Internet?
The trend has been to offer free access to Attendees for
trade shows on the web, but this is at the discretion of the trade show
Producer.
Why is a virtual booth in a virtual trade show different
from a website?
It guarantees you, the Attendee, the availability of
certain key personnel from the Exhibitor’s organization, with whom you can
interact through various communication channels like phone and text chat. It is
a time when an Exhibitor can expect to engage casual visitors, open dialog with
those visitors and convert them into qualified leads. It is a time when you the
Attendee can expect to get very useful information in a very short time and
perhaps also pick up some special offers while at the virtual booth, some
freebies and perhaps a job offer.
Can I watch a real exhibit
transmitted live on the web?
iTradeFair.com has designed its virtual
booth to enable quick download times, easy dissemination of information to you,
the Attendee, and for quick information exchange with the Exhibitors and other
Attendees. Events may or may not be on a live webcast and that is a decision of
the trade show Producer whose event you are attending. However, on a booth in a
virtual tradefair by iTradeFair.com, you will go away with as much information
as you would in a physical trade show. You will of course not have to carry home
large bags of material. The Exhibitor will simply ship them out to
you.
Am I required to download any special software to enter a
show?
No. We designed our product in a way that anyone with a browser
and an Internet connection would be able to access our shows with simple
point-and-click actions of the mouse. To watch a video presentation you can use
Real Player, a software that most personal computers are pre-installed with. If
you do not have Real Player installed on your computer, you can get it for free
from http://www.real.com. The other software
that you may need is the Adobe Acrobat Reader in case an Exhibitor offers some
literature in a .pdf format. Obtain an Acrobat Reader for free by going to http://www.adobe.com.
