  What Others Say

“I want to tell you how impressed we are with the overall turnout of this event. The level of detail you have collected is amazing. Thank you for your support and assistance during this event. All the emails that were sent to us was very helpful.”
- Cisco

“My initial and final impression is 'great tool'. Wonderful concept that allows corporate buyers that typically do not get an opportunity to attend such events in person the opportunity and flexibility to learn more about great qualified minority-owned vendors at a click of a button without leaving the office. In addition to improving buyers' visibility it is also a great concept for improving second-tier performance by encouraging primes who typically do not come across minority and women-owned vendors every day a chance and opportunity to network and increase vendor relationships. We have encouraged 15 buyers to attend and 28 Prime Vendors to accompany us in attending this virtual tradeshow.”
- SBC

“Congratulations to the entire team at iTradeFair for the successful completion of the Live phase of the Virtual Trade Show. It was a wonderful and novel experience for us to participate in the event and we are getting some very positive feedback from the attendees. Special thanks to the technical support team for very prompt and professional support given before and during the show. The event got good press coverage. There was a extensive coverage in the local press on the 1st day of the show and there is going to be another story to follow early next week. I am sure the online show till 25th March will come up with some real business proposition.”
- CREME-UK

“I thought the show was great!!! You have come a long way...". "We are talking to 55 buyers to bring them in over the duration of the show. I myself will revisit the show on Friday. The virtual trade show has been very effective in enabling a majority of Kodak's commodity managers to participate. No way would we be able to provide this much direct contact between our commodity managers and these many diverse suppliers because of cost & time. Our commodity managers find it easy to use as they search pavilions. Having suppliers designated to their product/service pavilion helps the commodity manager focus their searches effectively. This is our third virtual trade show and we continue to see the benefits. Keep up the good work and continue to contact us as new shows are developed.”
- Eastman Kodak Company

“The tradefair has a good representation of commodities and supplier booths. I sent the login information to 75 buyers, but don't have any idea who will login or when. These folks are all over the US.”
- Motorola

“I was very impressed with the tradeshow. I have not had any experience with this type of event being held online, so it was new to me. The booths I visited were very well done and the site itself was very easy to navigate. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how many buyers will be attending the tradeshow. I have forwarded any information you've sent to me to our buyers and if I get any additional feedback, I'll let you know. ”
- The Home Depot

“I visited the show yesterday and found some interesting companies. I even left a message on the chat line for one company in the UK. I saw a few that my company could use in different states. I only found one company from my state, Missouri. I'll forward the information to the Enterprise Buyers and remind them to visit the tradeshow during the "live" days.”
- Enterprise Rent-A-Car USA

“I will be logging in this afternoon. One of our market scan representatives will be reviewing the companies with me and based on that we will engage the commodity directors.”
- NCR

“I have not had a chance to log-in yet. One of my colleagues did and was favorably impressed. As far as I know, we are the only two from my division (J&J Consumer) who will be visiting. I hope to log-in before COB Friday this week.”
- J&J Consumer Products

“Isn't this a creative way to bring vendors and buyers together? We think it's wonderful! Tell those that matter that this brain child is really great! Your team has been a tremendous help throughout this process. Keep up the good work! This is a fabulous way to bring vendors and buyers together. Thanks for the opportunity to participate!”
- Nancy C. Smith, Vice President, The Spectrum Firm, Inc. (Exhibitor in the Motorola Virtual Tradeshow)

“Thanks again for the help. This has been really interesting and a great experience”
- Sue Bimmerle, Newport Promotional Services. (Exhibitor in the Motorola Virtual Tradeshow)

“We have had 22 buyers go online so far today. More plan to go online tomorrow. For the most part, we are receiving positive responses concerning the use of this system. I have only had one buyer comment that the supplier site he visited didn't have enough information to help him get a good handle on the supplier's capabilities. Other buyers like it because they can quickly direct their attention on only those suppliers of interest. Many are interested in attending a larger fair in the future.”
- Virtual attendee from Eastman Kodak Company.

Overall this is a very user friendly system, and I look forward to using it in the future. I have talked with our diversity group about potentially adding some other commodities when the time comes.”
- Virtual attendee from Eastman Kodak Company

I met with (exhibitors) ARM and Bi State Packaging. Met with Bi State on several occasions.”
- Virtual attendee from a Fortune 100 corporation.

Thanks for providing an excellent service.”
- Virtual attendee from Unisys.

The general opinion of Unisys participants providing feedback was that the event was well organized and provided value. The "official" review team of three commodity managers reported that their experience "had a lot to offer" and concluded that the virtual trade fair may be a valuable tool in the future.”
- Virtual attendee from Unisys.

We felt the show had a lot to offer. We were particularly impressed with the ease of selecting a particular commodity and within seconds being connected directly to the supplier's booth that offered that product or service.

We were also impressed with the graphics and thought it was a good idea that the booths were basically the same design creating a user-friendly environment. Additionally, we had an opportunity to view the short film by Larry Weinbach (Chairman & CEO of Unisys Corporation) on the importance of diversity spend. ”
- Virtual tradeshow review team within Unisys.

I had a moment to check out the show. Looks good. I went thru the 12 participating companies booths within Information Technology section and quickly located a company (name withheld) that provides RFID/tag hardware.

We have a few relationships with major players in RFID and their size/scale is important as RFID is a developing technology so we rely on companies with substantial R&D Budgets to share costs with us on emerging new applications. However, I have downloaded this firm's collateral and will keep them in consideration for any opportunities which may development in the future. ”
- Virtual attendee from Unisys.

I thought the framework was easy to use and to scan for companies that I may refer our commodity managers to. Specifically for any one booth my interest is not to contact them but see if their commodites may fit ours in Packaging and Resins.”
- Virtual attendee from Kodak.

Spoke to Tom (name withheld). Provides data center tape and other magnetic backup products. May be a potential supplier for I.S. However, this service is generally outside the scope of my project requirements in Engineering. I think the tradefair is an excellent tool and should be further developed. The reception areas, general information, booths, etc. provide convenient access to desired information. More participation from suppliers should continue to be encouraged. Each time I was ready to sign off after visiting the trade show I found myself looking for a LOGOFF button. A logoff button should be added.”
- Virtual attendee from Philip Morris USA.

Good to have found a company of which I was not aware. Plan to investigate further.”
- Virtual attendee from Kodak.

I thought I would take a moment to respond to your vcard while I'm monitoring Instant Messenger. In case you're interested in knowing how things are developing, we did receive an inquiry from Hallmark about our capabilities. We gave them the information, assuring Hallmark that we have the capacity to handle their printing projects for national distribution. They are now reviewing literature on our company for a possible follow-up.”
- Virtual exhibitor in Supplier Diversity Fair, Summer2003.

It saved me a whole lot of time and money and we were guaranteed exposure to power-buyers.”
- Virtual exhibitor Ms. Joanne Christopher, Director of Sales, SOFT, Inc., New York City, NY

Very pleased with the supplier I found. I am looking for a specific commodity that I need to talk one-on-one with the supplier about. The supplier I contacted did e-mail. I am pleased with the response.”
- Virtual attendee from Archer Daniels Midland Company

The concept is excellent and I'm sure as the word spreads there'll be more participation. There were six companies here that could potentially be suppliers to ADM. Not too bad for the few categories that were meaningful to me and for the number of participants in each. In fact I'd say that this would be a good promotional piece.”
- Virtual attendee from Archer Daniels Midland Company

I really liked this format and the system you built to support it...great job!!! I realize that this was one of the firsts, but I would be very happy and interested in participating again.”
- Virtual attendee from Philip Morris USA, Winner of the 2002 National NMSDC Corp. of the Yr. Award.

The show was well done. I enjoyed the opportunity and experience.”
- Virtual attendee from Philip Morris USA

I like the concept a lot! Sure beats flying to another city for a real trade show. Any minority supplier who is listed on the MWBE database should be accessible via the virtual trade show .”
- Virtual attendee from Hallmark Cards, Inc.

I think the concept is terrific. I look forward to participating in the next virtual fair .”
- Virtual attendee from Philip Morris USA

I liked the forum; Overall it was very well done .”
- Virtual attendee from PM Realty Group.

“I enjoyed the virtual tour” says online Attendee Lory Cox, Curriculum Core Specialist at NetSchools, Inc., Atlanta, GA, who will not be making it in person to the physical event in Denver.

“I found it simple and seamless to create the booth for our company — CalcuScribe. It took less than 30 minutes and it was fun too. I did not need the manual. You are providing a novel concept which has a lot of potential.” says online Exhibitor Jaffer Qamar, VP Marketing at CalcuScribe.com, a Silicon Valley based company which develops and markets products that augment computers but work independently to facilitate teaching and learning.

“AECT is excited about this new Virtual Trade Show. This is the kind of professional and cutting edge activity the membership has demanded of the Association. This opportunity will be a win-win situation for both visitors and business partners”, says Phillip Harris, Ph.D., Executive Director of AECT on this latest e-powered venture.

“AECT is excited about this online trade show. AECT plans to harness the Internet through more such events and bring added benefits to our membership”, says Phillip Harris, Ph.D., Executive Director of AECT on this latest e-powered initiative.

“By adding a virtual trade show to this year’s AECT Show of the Future!, we are able to significantly extend the reach of the show and in turn provide better value for our exhibitors because it will run much longer than the live event,” says Phillip Harris, Ph.D., Executive Director of AECT. “Because of iTradeFair.com’s technology, the cost and effort involved for our exhibitors to participate in the virtual show are minimal. “We’re offering a way to dramatically improve an exhibitor’s ROI on their investment in this event for very little additional expense and effort”, concludes Dr. Harris.

“Senior Care Pharmacy 2000 Online is another milestone to our long tradition of embracing technology to deliver cutting-edge expertise in the senior care pharmacy industry,” says Jackie Hajji, Director Meetings and Conventions at ASCP. "We are now going to be able to extend our collective knowledge and expertise on a larger scale and serve the professional and geriatric community better, while enhancing attendee experiences, and developing fruitful, long-term relationships with our members."
Jackie Hajji, Assistant Director, Meetings and Conventions at ASCP

"iTradeFair.com has a very effective methodology to extend trade shows online. Our experience with their software has been absolutely rewarding, and our exhibitors are taking to the web with increasing enthusiasm. It is a great membership benefit and we are glad we adopted the Internet with iTradeFair.com's user-friendly technology."
Rex Brown, Director of Information Services, Petroleum Equipment Institute

"iTradeFair.com’s unique, cutting edge technology provides one stop shopping solutions for event organizers in answer to strategic initiatives that include: supporting, expanding and enhancing physical or on-line trade shows/event; tapping into the global marketplace; starting new virtual trade shows; testing the market for new trade show niches, generating income; increasing exhibitor and attendee ROI; attracting additional virtual only exhibitors; increasing brand recognition; and supporting staff resources", said Ms. Kilduff.

There is a huge global trade show industry that relies on specialized technologies and expertise to remain competitive. iTradeFair.com provides real solutions for the growing and expanding virtual trade show market. The prospect of partnering with these industry groups toward the success of their virtual venues is very exciting", added Ms. Kilduff.

Bonnie Kilduf, former Director of PACK EXPO and past chairman MATSO and IAEM's International Committee (97-98), and Board member of the Trade Show Bureau (now CEIR).

"Having participated in trade shows for many years, I’ve found they can be effective at generating sales leads and contacts, but they require a tremendous expenditure of resources. As a result, a vendor has to pick and choose carefully which shows they will exhibit in because the investment is so great. The concept of a virtual trade show where there is no physical event in the background is very appealing because the barriers to participation are so low. It offers the promise of delivering substantial numbers of leads at a much lower cost per qualified lead, which is the ultimate measurement of effectiveness for any lead generation activity."
Russ Teubner, founder of HostBridge Technology and a member of the Supervisory Board of Esker S.A.,

"The Internet environment creates a setting to host a virtual trade fair that is uninhibiting for both exhibitors and attendees," says Seth Frey, founder of Granny’s Goodies, Inc. "The volume of visitors has the potential to be much greater because the Web opens up doors for individuals who can’t afford to fly to a trade show for a face-to-face meeting. I expect the interest to be very targeted and I’m confident that the leads will be more qualified than leads we get from conventional trade shows."
Online Exhbitor Seth Frey, founder of Granny’s Goodies, Inc

"The promotional products business is very relational, but many vendors think they can be successful by just putting a version of their catalog online. iTradeFair.com’s approach provides the interaction that is missing from a standard Web site in our industry. To be successful in this business, you also must be creative in order to differentiate yourself."
Darrell Marriott, CAS, vice-president of marketing for Purple Elephant Promotions
